At the same time, in Mayo Clinic's Clinician's Guide to Cannabinoidal and Hemp Oils—it is stated that doses of up to 300 mg per day have been used safely for up to 6 months. The guide also references a study that reported the safety of oral CBD administration of 400-800 mg per day.
However, at these high doses, it is hypothesized that there might be some interactions with other drugs/medications.
How to Calculate a Dosage
As you can see, there is no standard milligram dosage for every person, or for every ailment.
However, once you have gauged the amount of CBD that you want to take, the next step is to ascertain how to measure out your dosage.
To do so accurately, you need to be aware of the variables that can impact dosages.
Things to Consider When Calculating Dosages
Once you have decided on what kind of CBD dosage you are aiming for, low, medium, high, etc, ascertaining how much you are getting in is also not 100% straight forward. As it turns out, there are a few complications to consider.
